BioSince 1980 Diego Borotti has been carrying on concert activity in Jazz Clubs, Jazz Festivals and reviews in Italy and Europe.
Since 1988 he has started the parallel activities of composer and band leader.
Diego has lent his sound to numerous formations going from the trio to the big-Band (among which the National Jazz Orchestra) and has taken part in several record projects also co-operating with Dave Weckl, Enrico Rava, Franco D'Andrea, Gary Dial, John Patitucci, Furio di Castri, François Jeanneau, Steve Grossman, George Brown, Flavio Boltro, Skip Haden, Roberto Rossi, Bob Revel.
Since 1997 Diego has been taking part in the artistic management of the Itinerant Festival "Jazz in town" for Philip Morris (Turin 1997, Bologna 1998).
