Rick Rossi

"For anyone who hasn't tried a Cannonball saxophone in the last couple years, you should educate yourself! I only became aware last year when I was at the NAMM, compared them next to the newest top of the line Selmer Saxophones and Yamahas and I was blown away by, not only the warmth and fatness of tone but how expansive the sound was. I could push and get more sound, while on the Selmer and Yamaha it hit a threshold much sooner. I love my SVR-L Cannonball Soprano. The pitch and ease of playing is the best I've played. It's got a great center to the sound and the more I play it the more I develop a personality on it. I'm aiming to get the Vintage Reborn Cannonball Alto Sax next. As a saxophone player who has played nothing but vintage Selmers all my life, I have to say I'm blown away by the new series of Cannonball saxophones." ~ Rick Rossi
